Baseball Recap: Trinity Academy Knights vs. Collegiate Spartans
Trinity Academy can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They never let the Collegiate Spartans onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Trinity Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
The team relied heavily on Braden Roberts, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Josiah Sems was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Trinity Academy pushed their record up to 20-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Collegiate, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.
Trinity Academy will face off against Marysville on Thursday. Trinity Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season. Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
