Softball Game Preview: Nevis Tigers vs. Hill City/Northland

Nevis fell victim to Blackduck and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Drakes. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Drakes: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Hill City/Northland was able to grind out a solid win over Littlefork-Big Falls on Thursday, taking the game 7-2. Hill City/Northland hasn't had any issues with Littlefork-Big Falls recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Hill City/Northland's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Nevis, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
