Basketball Game Preview: Union City Bears vs. Youngsville Eagles

Union City and Youngsville are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Union City Bears will take on the Youngsville Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Union City is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Union City is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Mercyhurst Prep on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Union City was beaten by Mercyhurst Prep 81-26. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Youngsville came up short against Eisenhower on Friday and fell 53-40. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Youngsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
