Volleyball Recap: Churchill Triumphs

Churchill lost to Sotomayor back in August of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Chargers came out on top against the WILDCATS by a score of 2-0.

Gia Duenez paced Churchill's offense, picking up 12 kills. Duenez got some help from Sofia Sedano and her 21 assists. Jyllian Casas controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Churchill's record now sits at 11-2. As for Sotomayor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Churchill has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Glenn on the 22nd. As for Sotomayor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against McAllen Memorial on the 22nd.
