Football Game Preview: Webster Schroeder Warriors vs. Eastridge Lancers

The Webster Schroeder Warriors will take on the Eastridge Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Webster Schroeder's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.

On Monday, Webster Schroeder was able to grind out a solid victory over Penfield, taking the game 41-30.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Eastridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 20-16 win over Our Lady of Mercy on Thursday.

Eastridge's win came from a few key players Webster Schroeder will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alyssa Cowart, who rushed for 125 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Sadie O'Neill, who threw for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Eastridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Madyson Fizer led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Webster Schroeder pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Eastridge, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-2.
