Basketball Recap: Broadwater Academy Takes a Loss

Broadwater Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Portsmouth Christian Patriots and fell 88-19. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Broadwater Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Pruitt, who posted four points.

Broadwater Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Portsmouth Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Broadwater Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chincoteague at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portsmouth Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Gateway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
