Dufur strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 34-28 W against the Elgin Huskies. The Rangers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Dufur got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Anderson out in front who picked up 95 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown. Chase Peterson was in the mix as well, providing the Rangers with three scores.

Dufur's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Elgin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Dufur is taking a road trip to challenge Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dufur will need to watch out since Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Elgin, they will welcome Cove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will be up against the Leopards' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
