Baseball Recap: Jordan's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jordan had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Highland Rams a 17-0 shutout. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

KADE CARTER looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on KODY KEMP, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. JACKSON ROSVALL was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Jordan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .619. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Jordan's record is now 5-1. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will head out to take on West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is facing West at the right time seeing as West is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to square off against Alta at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Highland will need to watch out since Alta has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
