Softball Recap: Valley Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Valley Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bishop Diego Cardinals, falling 23-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Monday.

Valley Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bishop Diego, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian Academy will host Shandon at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Diego will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Foothill Tech at 3:30 p.m. on April 1st.
