Football Recap: Jubilee Lions vs. San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy Pirates
After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Jubilee finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were beaten by the San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy Pirates 44-0. The shutout was out of character for the Lions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.
Jubilee's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jubilee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victoria Cobra HomeSchool at 10:30 a.m. on October 26th. As for San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Mount Carmel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Mount Carmel Academy likes a good challenge.
