Soccer Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Clearfield was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the West Field Longhorns by a score of 1-0. Clearfield were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced West Field earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for West Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clearfield will face off against rival Bonneville at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Field is set to challenge their familiar foe Box Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
