Archbishop Carroll is 8-2 against Father Judge since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Archbishop Carroll Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Father Judge Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Archbishop Carroll earned a 55-48 win over Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Friars/Pandas are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Father Judge entered their tilt with Archbishop Ryan on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victor by a 79-59 margin over the Raiders and Ragdolls. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Father Judge has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Archbishop Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Archbishop Carroll took their victory against Father Judge in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 81-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archbishop Carroll since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
