Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hinkley Thunder. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Jefferson sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-13, 16-25, 15-5.

Camila Rocha was the offensive standout of the match as she had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hinkley, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Coming up, Jefferson will take on Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hinkley, they will challenge Regis Groff at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
