Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Edison, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Caldwell will take on Tuscarawas Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edison, they have already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Jefferson County Christian on the 29th.
