With a playoff win on the line, Dixon rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ottawa Pirates, sneaking past 2-1. The Dukes & Duchesses haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Leading Dixon to victory were Yui Santos and Presley Lappin. Santos had 14 digs, while Lappin had 16 assists.

Dixon's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Ottawa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-23-2 record this season.

Dixon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Sycamore on the 30th. Ottawa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
