Basketball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost to the Rushville-Industry Rockets at home by a 58-40 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-34 back in November of 2024.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Rushville-Industry, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-19.

Seymour has already played their next game (against Pleasant Hill/Western), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rushville-Industry, they will take on Bushnell-Prairie City at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
