Basketball Recap: Bayfield Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a good run, but Bayfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 62-51 to the Hurley Northstars. The match marked the Trollers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Trollers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maxwell Gordon, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Gordon is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Quintin Bresette was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten assists.

Bayfield's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Hurley, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
