Volleyball Game Preview: Oak Park-River Forest Huskies vs. Sandburg Eagles

The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies will challenge the Sandburg Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Oak Park-River Forest sitting on six straight wins and Sandburg on ten.

Oak Park-River Forest is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lyons, sneaking past 2-1.

Gus Leman had an outrageously good game as he had 22 digs and one assist. Those 22 digs gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Sandburg faced Reavis in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams.

Oak Park-River Forest better keep an eye on Ethan Cleofe. He was instrumental in Sandburg's win, getting ten digs and one assist.

Sandburg couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 45% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Oak Park-River Forest's win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Sandburg, their victory bumped their record up to 35-4.
