Michael "isaia" Howard leads Plattsburg to victory over West Platte

The Plattsburg Tigers came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 63-55 win over West Platte. Given Plattsburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while West Platte is ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Michael "isaia" Howard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Plattsburg's points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Langton, who scored 15 points along with four steals.

Plattsburg's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for West Platte, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Plattsburg will be playing at home against Braymer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Braymer's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for West Platte, they will head out on the road to face off against Hogan Prep Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
