Softball Recap: Granger Takes a Loss

Granger lost against Bremond back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 7-6. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abi Crouch and Rylinn Hamby did some serious damage despite the final result: Crouch went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Hamby went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Skyla Thorsen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Granger now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Bremond, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

Granger didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-0 victory against Chilton on the 15th. As for Bremond, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-0 win against Bartlett on the 15th.
