Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Rome's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Rome won the last time they faced Kennesaw Mountain and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rome Wolves strolled past the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 70-53. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Mustangs are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rome has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
