After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kelly Catholic, Tomball Kings was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Northland Christian Cougars. The Homeschool haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mikey Sharp looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Owen Wilkins was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Asher Chapa was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Tomball Kings hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northland Christian struck out 15 times.

Looking ahead, Tomball Kings will venture away from home to face off against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Homeschool's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Northland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
