Softball Recap: Canyon Crest Academy Comes Up Short

Canyon Crest Academy lost against El Camino back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ravens lost 9-3 to the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Ravens have lost by exactly six runs.

Alexis McNamee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Canyon Crest Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12-1 record this season. As for El Camino, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon Crest Academy will host Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for El Camino, they will challenge Carlsbad at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
