Barbe's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. They never let the New Iberia Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Barbe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for New Iberia and nudges their season record down to 14-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barbe will take on New Iberia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Iberia, they will challenge Delcambre at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
