McKeesport benefitted from Miller in 6-5 loss
Matt Miller turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walks allowed. On the season, Miller has an ERA of 12.41 over 14.7 innings pitched.
Miller and McKeesport are on the road again on Thursday to play Gateway at 7:00 p.m. McKeesport has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
