Soccer Game Preview: Ukiah vs. Casa Grande

Ukiah is 0-8-2 against Casa Grande since January of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Ukiah Wildcats will host the Casa Grande Gauchos at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Casa Grande is hoping to do what San Rafael couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Ukiah's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Ukiah had just enough and edged San Rafael out 3-2. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one goal.

They hit San Rafael with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adrian Vasquez, Samuel Fausto, and Evan Macias.

Meanwhile, Casa Grande kept a clean sheet against Santa Rosa on Tuesday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 1-0 win from a begrudging Casa Grande squad. Kauan Oliveira had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Gauchos got from the refs.

Casa Grande's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Ukiah, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
