Dexter has gone a perfect 10-0 against Puxico recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bearcats will face off against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Dexter came up short against Advance on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Dexter's loss came about despite a quality game from Mauriona Menley, who had ten digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Puxico lost 3-0 to Sikeston on Tuesday.

While Puxico ultimately came up short, they really made Sikeston work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 25-17.

Puxico's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dexter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2.

Everything went Dexter's way against Puxico in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Dexter made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
