Volleyball Recap: Tupelo Snags 12th Victory in Last 15 Games

The Tupelo Golden Wave made easy work of the Saltillo Tigers on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-17.

Tupelo was led to victory by Maria Casthilo and Lily Shettles. Casthilo had five digs and two aces, while Shettles had three digs and one assist.

Tupelo is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season. As for Saltillo, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Tupelo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Horn Lake on the 30th. As for Saltillo, they will head out to take on Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
