There's no place like home for Ruidoso, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Capitan Tigers on Tuesday as the Ruidoso Warriors made off with a 19-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Joel Ortega was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Carson Stratton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Ruidoso always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capitan only posted an OBP of .417.
