After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Clermont, Walnut Hills was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 43-34 win over the Loveland Tigers. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Loveland's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Anna Proano-Raps was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Walnut Hills' win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Loveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Walnut Hills and Loveland should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 28th) will meet Turpin (ranked 509th) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Loveland will take on Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (85 vs. 368).
