Chugiak is 1-9 against Dimond since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Mustangs will face off against the Lynx at 4:00 p.m. Chugiak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.

Chugiak is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who was ranked 13th at the time (Chugiak was ranked ninth). The Mustangs never let the Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The win continues a trend for Chugiak in their matchups with Bettye Davis East Anchorage: they've now won three in a row.

Chugiak's one-goal win came courtesy of Reed Douthit, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Service kept up with Dimond until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Lynx blew past the Cougars 3-0. The victory was nothing new for Dimond as they're now sitting on four straight.

Chugiak now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dimond, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
