Football Recap: Columbus' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

After soaring to 49 points the game before, Columbus was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell 17-13 to the Needville Bluejays. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Columbus' loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for Needville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Columbus will host Madisonville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Needville, they will take on El Campo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
