Baseball Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. St. Joseph Academy Flashes

After flying high against West Port last Thursday, Dunnellon came back down to earth. The Dunnellon Tigers fell victim to a tough 7-1 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph Academy Flashes on Friday. It was the first time this season that Dunnellon let down their fans at home.

Dunnellon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Hickey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

On St. Joseph Academy's side, Jacob Guthmiller looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.
