Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). Everything went their way against the Corona del Mar Sea Kings on Thursday as Edison made off with a 19-1 win. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Sea Kings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Elina Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Aubrey Catron was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.
