Soccer Recap: Prout Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prout can now relate to. They fell just short of the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Prout's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Prout's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-7. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6-3.

Coincidentally, Prout and Blackstone Valley Prep will both be playing Burrillville the next time they take the pitch. The PRIDE will head out to face the Broncos on Thursday, while the Crusaders will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
