Soccer Recap: Mullen Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Mullen Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Kent Denver Sun Devils and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Mullen and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Kent Denver, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Mullen will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. Mountain Range will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mullen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kent Denver, they will venture away from home to face off against The Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
