Softball Recap: Girard Academic Music Program Comes Up Short

They fell just short of the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 11-9 on Tuesday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Railsplitters recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Girard Academic Music Program's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Abraham Lincoln, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Girard Academic Music Program does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will take on Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Railsplitters' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 12.4 runs per game this season.
