Houston County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston County will be strutting in after a win while Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Houston County strolled past East Hickman County with points to spare, taking the game 50-33.
Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Big Sandy 80-50. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central has not had much luck with Big Sandy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Houston County pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
Houston County beat Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central 52-42 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Houston County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
