Baseball Recap: Elite Comes Up Short

Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Esparto Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-4 loss two weeks ago.

Ma'Kai Little was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Little is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Elite's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Esparto, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
