Basketball Recap: Grapevine Takes a Loss

Grapevine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 49-33 fall against the Poteet Pirates. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Grapevine's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Poteet, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Grapevine will face off against Ranchview at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Poteet, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ennis at 1:00 p.m.
