Chesnee had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Greenville Tech Charter on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Warriors. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by ten runs or more this season.

Chesnee has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Greenville Tech Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Chesnee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 win against Greer on the 23rd. Hopefully Greenville Tech Charter paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
