Softball Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Tivy Antlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Antlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-4 back in March.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Tivy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wagner and Tivy will both be playing Veterans Memorial the next time they take the field. The Thunderbirds will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Antlers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
