Volleyball Recap: Choctawhatchee Takes a Loss

Choctawhatchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kodiaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Leading Global Outreach Charter Academy to victory were Daniel Sheqi and Lawton Kuhn. Sheqi had 26 assists and four aces, while Kuhn had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Sheqi a new career-high.

Choctawhatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Choctawhatchee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Beachside on the 5th. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, they will challenge Ponte Vedra at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
