Lake Highland Prep is 2-8 against Trinity Prep since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Lake Highland Prep will face off against Trinity Prep at 6:30 p.m.

Lake Highland Prep is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Foundation Academy, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Highlanders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Trinity Prep got the win against Trinity Christian Academy last Monday by a conclusive 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Trinity Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. Lake Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Lake Highland Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Highland Prep since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
