Angleton won against Santa Fe on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Brazosport Christian Eagles. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Angleton's record is now 16-11-1. As for Brazosport Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-9-2.

Coming up, Angleton will be playing at home against Iowa Colony at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brazosport Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Danbury at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
