Seckman scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Hazelwood West Wildcats by a score of 71-68. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Wildcats are ranked 61st).

It was another big night for Jamiah Herring-Green, who dropped a double-double with 47 points and 19 rebounds for Hazelwood West. The game was Herring-Green's tenth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Zayniyah Jackson, who posted nine points and five boards.

Seckman's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hazelwood West, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.
