Volleyball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner suffered their biggest defeat since September 25th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Edgerton Crimson Tide, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crimson Tide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Turner ultimately came up short, they really made Edgerton work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-14, 25-16.

This is the second loss in a row for Turner and nudges their season record down to 17-9. As for Edgerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-8 record this season.

Turner will be taking part in a tournament against Platteville at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Edgerton, they will be playing at home against McFarland at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
