Volleyball Recap: Monroe-Woodbury Comes Up Short

After flying high against Goshen Central on Monday, Monroe-Woodbury came back down to earth. The Crusaders came up short against the Valley Central Vikings on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Monroe-Woodbury's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Valley Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Monroe-Woodbury will square off against Kingston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Central, they will face off against Newburgh Free Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
