Baseball Recap: Richwoods Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Richwoods won against Normal West on Monday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Knights came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 5-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Richwoods pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Normal West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-11.

Looking ahead, Richwoods will head out to square off against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Normal West, they will welcome Glenwood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
