Baseball Recap: Mineral Wells Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mineral Wells, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees on Tuesday by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 win the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mineral Wells pushed their record up to 11-6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Stephenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-4-2.
